Average Venus Surf Adventures sell out in advance, so it is advisable to make your reservations as early as possible. Please confirm availability before purchasing your flight. Prices include domestic airfare and taxi from San Jose Costa Rica to Pavones. Credit cards are accepted via Paypal. A deposit of $350 is required to hold your reservation. Full payment must be made six weeks prior to the arrival date. Shared and private rooms are available on a first come, first served basis, therefore earlier bookings offer a better choice of rooms. After payment is received, you will receive additional information needed for trip preparation prior to your departure.
Please book your flights to arrive on the first posted adventure date and to depart on the last posted adventure date to and from Golfito, Costa Rica. Final booking of your flight is not necessary before registration. Arrangements for domestic flights and taxi to/from Golfito are complimentary, the cost of the taxi is $70 each way and takes about 2 hours. Please check Sansa Airlines for their latest pricing. Guests are expected to arrive at the Riviera between 1 and 4pm. Please contact us if you expect an earlier or later arrival. You must bring your valid passport to enter Costa Rica and return. All guests are responsible for proof of citizenship documents. Note: Your ID must have at least six months remaining before expiration to be valid. Minors require special written documentation to leave the country. Venus Surf Adventures provides excellent surfboards, but if you bring your own, contact your airline first to confirm additional baggage charges. Sansa airlines has a board size limit of 6'9". If you want to shuttle your boards from the airport in San Jose, there will be a $250 ground transportation fee for a taxi.
You will find one or two double beds and a single or bunk beds and a kitchenette in most surf villas. Every surf villa has a bathroom & a spacious lanai. A $50 early payment discount is available if your full payment is made at least 90 days prior to your arrival date. Please, no exceptions for extending early payment discount deadlines.
At Venus Surf Adventures, we are so committed to providing you

Below are the guidelines if you must cancel your adventure:
We do not offer cash or credit card refunds. There is no refund
for arriving late or leaving an adventure early. Deposits are
non-refundable, but can be applied to another adventure within
one year. If you must cancel your reservation after full payment,
your cancellation fee will be determined according to the
following formula:
If you cancel your reservation more than 30 days prior to the
adventure's start date, you will be charged a cancellation fee of
25% of your payment. If you cancel your reservation 15-29 days
prior to the adventure's start date, you will be charged a
cancellation fee of 50% of your payment. If you cancel your
reservation within 14 days of the adventure's start date, you
will forfeit 85% of your payment. Your balance or deposit will be
applied to another adventure within one year of the start of your
cancellation.
Exceptions to our policy cannot be made for any reason, including
weather or personal emergencies. Venus Surf Adventures strongly
recommends purchasing Travel Protection Insurance through your
travel agent. If your insurance company does not cover you
abroad, we can provide you with a contact for travel insurance.
If Venus Surf Adventures must cancel an adventure, all payments
received to date will be refunded, which constitutes full
settlement. You may reschedule, with no penalty, to go on another
Venus Surf Adventure within one calendar year from the date of payment. Venus
Surf Adventures is not responsible for expenses incurred in
preparation for any canceled trips, such as airline tickets, or
for costs incurred due to travel delays, flight cancellation or
illness.
Guests who fail to provide personal information and signed, downloadable pdf
"Acknowledgment of risks, Assumption of risks and responsibilities and Release
of Liability"forms prior to their adventure will not be allowed to
participate in the activities. Furthermore, the above cancellation policy will apply.
